I don’t know about that Canucks trade. Really depends on how they value Garland and OEL. Could be an instant accept before you rescind the offer, or could be a hang up the phone because I’m so insulted situation. That being said, Arizona already traded OEL retained. I’m not sure about how the rules are written, but reacquiring him while also having a portion of his retained salary on the books may fall under cap circumvention.

VAN isn't gonna do that trade, if they're retaining that much salary on OEL they may as well buy him out and avoid giving up assets and bringing back Zack Kassian.
