Genuinely, what do you think the plan is for him? Is he going to be resigned or do the Flames risk walking him. And what do you expect to get for him?

Toffoli is worth more like a 1st + either Sharangovich, Jesper Boqvist, Michael McLeod, Graeme Clarke, Kevin Bahl or Chase Stillman

Tyce Thompson doesn’t have much, if any, value, as he’ll likely be available for Free of Waivers next season and other than his size, Vukojevic doesn’t really move the needle or interest us at all

Considering Toff’s been our Best and Most Productive Forward and has a Right Shot, the Flames would likely look to re-sign him for around $5mil/yr and wouldn’t consider moving him unless it was for an upgrade, like Dawson Mercer for example

Ben Jones is an NHL Ready Centre that I wouldn’t Trade or Move for anything less than a 3rd Round Pick or Equivalent Prospect. He’s more valuable than both Tyce Thompson and Vukojevic combined

Totally fair. Toffoli has been so good for you guys this year, only made this with the idea that Calgary would look to trade him if they were worried about losing him for nothing or if they were looking for some young pieces back. If we had our 1st I’d probably be willing to move it for him but don’t think the devils should risk their future ones when we may have to give it to SJ. And I didn’t realize there value to Jones like I said in the trade. I saw he was a 24 year old needing a new contract haha
