Thats funny because Montreal is trading out a mediocre contract for a good contract here. Flames easily decline this

Neither Trade Happens

We’re very happy with Weegar and his contract here in CGY and Michael Stone only wants to play for CGY. If he doesn’t make the Flames, he probably just signs to play with our AHL Wranglers Team to stay in Calgary with his Family

Its fine for now, which makes no sense for the habs since they're not really competing... but 6.25 til he's 37? No thanks, it just doesn't fit their timeline
