I'll keep it short, the Jets have zero reason to trade PLD to MTL for LESS than they would get for him as a pure rental at the TDL. That is all.

insane hUBERDEAU TRADE.... they wont be able to move that cap hit after such a disasterous year... and montreal is not going to take your huge cap mistake by giving you multiple 1st riound pickss that is just silly.. Cgy is stuck with huberdeau until he has a season like Karlsson just did then maybe you could move him...

at that offer for PLD, That hot mess isn't going to get him.

And no reason for Huberdeau to waive for a team in the beginning of a rebuild, Regardless if it's his hometown team or not. Montreal is a long ways from competing in the Atlantic. Buffalo, Detroit and Ottawa are already way ahead of them in their rebuilds. Plus you still have Toronto and Florida and Tampa and Boston you still need to knock off.
