Jan Rutta is a negative asset imo, but I’d give up a late round pick for Ruhwedal instead.

First of all, Rust isn’t likely to be moved until 2025-26 at the earliest. Second of all, why are the Canes paying for a guy who is obviously starting to decline? Especially since it would be a move the Canes have historically not done.

That Rust trade is unrealistic pretty sure he has a list, also doesn't want to move, shouldn't resign Jarry, Zucker, or sign graves, the Pens are in for JT Miller and we need space. We need youth in the team, and Allen is not young. You need to think about what's best for the pens as they're an aging team and trading for old guys is not ideal.

He's not that bad, me personally I don't mind him, but I think that the signing of Ivan Barbashev is pretty bad.

He’s been a little better in Pittsburgh this year, but he was TERRIBLE in the post season for TBL imo.

Rutta and a 3rd for Allen.
Don't forget Allen has a $3.8M cap hit. Rutta will offset a lot of that. Montreal may want to move Allen to avoid losing Primeau on waivers as well.

That's true, but he brings a big presence in that top 6 and I think the pens need that. However we aren't physical so you'd have to make sure he starts to throw the body around a little more.

In all honesty, Pittsburgh was a really good team until Hextall came to town. He got rid of McCann, Matheson and Marino via trade. He also didn’t resign E-Rod or Gaudreau, because he wanted to add/keep older players like Carter and Granlund.

Hextall has ruined this team, and I'll be damned if the fans don't push him out. This franchise deserves better than this Philly crook's hands on our team.

I totally agree, but at the same time islanders fans should be sending him fruit baskets. They aren’t in the playoffs without Ron Hextall’s hard work lmao.
