Hmm, excluding RD I kind of like this team.

Posted this on another ACGM, but Schmaltz probably doesn't fit Arizona's timeline or salary structure. Wings give up the Isles 2023 1st + a younger, cost controlled Zadina looking for a new start. The Yotes would have 3 1st round picks in 2023.

Wings take on Myers last year of contract, but honestly this could be a UFA like Dumba or Clifton for example.

Adin as a steady #2 backup goalie.

Depending on Kasper's progress he could either be #2C (probably with Copp on his wing) or #3C here. If he's #2, I'd probably have Suter in the lineup for 3C and leave either Mazur or Soderblom in GR.

Fabbri's always hurt. Hagg and Lindstrom subbing in because injuries are inevitable.

Confused as to why you signed Suter at 2x$4m to have him be a healthy scratch??? Surely you could get a player that costs much less to be your 13th forward.

I don't see Suter returning. If he were Stevie likely would've given him a contract extension during the season. That's just my gut feeling. Chiasson and/or Czarnik are much cheaper depth options for 13/14 F.

Couldn't retain on him. Stevie used his 2 remaining retention slots on Bert and Vrana.

When that JVR to Detroit rumour popped up on deadline day and Flyers GM Fletcher said a deal with Detroit was contingent on Yzerman trading a contract to another team I immediately thought it was Suter. But it never happened of course.
