I love Sam’s game so I would accept. Only condition would be this is the only trade we make for a center upgrade. If they also want Hayes then we cannot (sadly) say yes to this.

I think he's a good player but why do they keep sending him to the AHL or giving him 4th line minutes. That doesn't exactly scream management loves him.

The environment was toxic from what Ive heard in Van, apparently he loved his time in abby, and he has put up better numbers than denisenko and hes a home grown prospect. Mgmt does love him, thats why hes getting PP1 Reps down at the farm, theyre doing it for his benefit

Canucks decline. Hoglander could possibly use a change of scenery. However, he's proven his offensive game at the NHL level, while Denisenko has yet to prove anything. I'd rather keep Hoglander and take a chance on the guy who's already proven something as opposed to a guy who hasn't shown anything. Canucks also have absolutely zero need for wingers, trading Hoglander for a winger doesn't make sense. If Hoglander gets moved, it will be for a defenseman also in need of a change of scenery.

Hoggy does not need a change of scenery. He is coming along well in the AHL and will be on the NHL team at some point next season

VAN passes, Hoglander has too much potential and we already have our reclamation project in Kravtsov. I think VAN would be interested in Reinhart tho, could give you Pearson, Hoglander, Bear and an extra pick to sweeten the deal. 3 roster players who's cap equals that of Reinhart.

Because he is a couple games away from being waiver elegible. No point in playing him on the tire fire NHL season when he can get development time in the AHL and let him make the team next season
