Description
Taking a flyer on Myers while also giving TB a LD prospect, keeping the good relationship alive.

Hoping Edvinsson and Addison gel, or Maata does the same for him as he did for Hronek. Loose structure on the trade which could be tweaked.

Minnesota would respectfully decline. You offered nothing of value. Zadina does nothing for Minnesota

Love the Kilhorn signing. But with that cap, Wings should solidify the defence with a short term good UFA, maybe even two.

That was just the ballpark to start but understandable. Thought was after seeing his favor apparently fall out (could be overstated), maybe BG doesn't want to spend the money on his contract. I hope the Wild keep him as I enjoy watching him play live. My main thought on the return was cap space due to Suter and Parise.
- The 43 pick was the main piece
- Sebrango looks to be a good bottom pairing D that is a cheap replacement for AG or Merrill
- Zadina is no top 6 pick, but at 1.8M for two seasons as a bottom 6 forward who plays a good 200ft game and is 23, you really don't take any risk.

Are you in the re-sign Addison group or the send him out / let him walk group?

I had signed Mayfield, deleted it, signed Clifford, deleted it.. I agree something will give, I just don't want several Chiarot/Copp signings similar to last season.

Addison might get traded, but for something else..
D isn't a need even if he's traded. Zadina wouldn't have any room in Minnesota

If we had any centers to offer I would attempt that lol unfortunately MIN and DET are in similar boats there.

That's fair, SY kept that trend going in Detroit. With Myers buried I just assumed it for cap space.

I do like him that’s why I picked trying to trade for him as opposed to re-signing Gus lol I just don’t know him nearly as well as TB fans.

I have to disagree here. Maybe not long term contracts, but we have to sign a lot of guys again this summer. We had good depth to start of the 22-23 season, but got a lot of injuries. This team can’t stay healthy and we all know that😢. There is still a lot of Cap space, I think we need to have 23 legit NHL players. We had 6-8 AHL players in our lineup in these last games😂. That can’t happen anymore if we want to make the playoffs.

The problem is that this FA class is weak and the draft is strong. Trading is the best bet to improve the way Detroit needs to.

Also, yes the AHL carousel is tough, and hopefully prospects start filling those out.
