This is a great trade and fills a huge hole the Red Wings have at RHD.

Wait, he's what? He's a LHD?
Oh.

Not only is Zadorov not worth one of those pieces, he is worth noting to Detroit. Try again.

He's a third pairing guy that can slide into the second pair once in awhile. He's physical which is good but that sometimes leaves him out of position. A team might pay a second for him but considering ever single teams LHD depth nowadays I honestly doubt it. At least not in the offseason, maybe at the deadline.

Flames need Zadorov more than yet another Left Shot Prospect and a 2nd that won't help them for years

Better to Trade Vladar for a Cheap Roster Player, 2nd or C/RW/RD Prospect imo

honestly i see our biggest hole being at LW this season. We have Huberdeau, Coleman, and Pelts. Ruzicka is fine in a pinch i guess, but that's a spot we need to fill. It's also easier to move money out for a prospect, and that's really the aim of these is to free up much needed cap space. We should also be getting Kylington back this season, which will fill the hole of Zadorov.

He plays both quite well. Other than the odd defensive blunder, Zadorov was a bright spot this year on an otherwise dismal flames team. I have no idea who Hanas is so I Don't know if it is fair value, but Zadorov is worth more than a 2nd to us for sure.

Sadly, I watched every flames game this year. He does have some defensive blunders but all in all he looked much better this year despite the whole team collapsing on Goals For.

Trade deadline would yield a haul for him.

If we wanted a LHD who could play RD we'd call up Albert Johansson or maybe even William Wallinder; both played RD in the SHL

Yjen you should wait until the TDL to trade him because Detroit isn't making this trade.

Kylington won’t replace Zadorov’s Defence, Oenalty Killing or Physical Abilities, we’d have to rely on Gilbert stepping in to bring that Energy and Physicality

What about LW’s Dube & Mangiapane or NHL Ready Prospects Connor Zary, Ben Jones, Martin Pospisil and Mathias Emelio-Pettersen!?

There’s a chance Poirier beats out Kylington come Training Camp as well. Not sure if Kylington has played at all this year, whereas Poirier is putting his game together and getting better Defensively too

Yeah, DET doesn’t need Zadorov with $7mil already tied up between Chiarot and Maata on their roster for the next 2-3 years

That's cool, you can keep him or move him elsewhere then, plenty of other options

Like who? Robert Hagg!?

Okay, maybe Carson Soucy, but I already said above that DET doesn’t need Zadorov and yeah, we’re not going to just give him away. He’s much better than you think

He's awesome and perfect for for Detroit, just not paying that price for him, equivalent of 2 2nds
