Jarry will want more per season.
Keep Carter as a C. He has a top 10 faceoffs win % in the NHL.
Bit of an overpay for Oloffson. Throw in Rutta too and it would be good.

agree with a lot of what you said. If Jarry wants more not sure I give it to him. He doesn't deserve it. Carter and Poehling can split the faceoffs depending on what side the faceoff is, I just put Carter on the wing because he can't handle the defensive responsibilites as a Center anymore. But I agree its an overpay for Oloffson, but you might have to do something like this to get rid of Petry. Also, I am not giving up hope on Rutta quite yet. despite injuries he wasnt too bad. I'd like to see Carter or Granlund gone before him but getting rid of those two will be tough.

Think Jarry will probably want a bit more. With how much is being offered for Olofsson, Buff may retain some of his salary which could open up some space for either giving Jarry more or potentially free up room for another free agent or trade.

Jarry definitely deserves it. He's the best UFA goalie available.

Ok. Then keep slick Vic.

Based on anecdotal evidence (ie. talking to people, so grain of salt), Buffalo fans don't seem to want him around / want to sell high.

I don't know, Rutta is bad and has been bad for years....

They absolutely dont and nor do i but his contract ends next year and hopefully not extended but KA wants long term or young fixer uppers so doubt it happens. The value of a legitimate sniper with 28 goals this year and a very one dimensional streaky way of playing confuses me. What is he truly worth? Buffalo Fans that want Petry similarly dislike Jokiharju who Petry would replace in their minds. Won’t happen. Management loves him
