Issue with the trade from Anaheim's side is fit, not value. We need a Zub type RHD not a Lassi type RHD, between Drysdale and Luneau and the truck load of offensive LHD we've got on the way, we're pretty set at offensive blue liners.

We also just picked up an overpaid bottom 6 forward with McGinn from Pitt this past TDL, and with Silf still on the books, we really don't want to add another one at the cost of one of (probably our best) middle 6 scorer.

Cat for Vatrano and ANA 23 (33OA) and 24 2nds would get some traction on our end, but I would not count on us moving a first this or next year for him, his defensive deficiencies were really exposed this year and his production seems more tied with who he plays with rather than him able to drive the offense himself.

I'd do that if I'm Detroit. That's a bargain in my opinion and the return for the Sens is probably better than what they paid too given the draft depth.
