I don’t love that Joey takes a center spot away from one of Glass, Parssinen, or Novak. Freeing that space up would probably be beneficial to those guys, as I don’t love the idea of any of them (besides maybe Parssinen) playing wing

Play joey on wing or 4C. Smith joey sissons could be a decent defensively capable 4th line.

He can be solid defensively. He shows flashes of having a nastiness to his game, which could work out. However, I'd rather get a trade done than have a guy making 8m as a 4th liner. That would sort of leave me feeling defeated

Yeah I think that would be better and he would probably prefer that as well rather then being stuck on the fourth line.
