I really dislike the "killer instinct" trope, but man the Leafs stink when they have something to play for...

Man that sequence was scary bad (Dont have ROR-JT-Jarnkrok out together) and what makes it worse Tampa has a PP and Brodie is in the box

I am a big analytics guy but I think there still lots of work that needs to be done. The game evolves and so will the analytics. I think Tampa has had long stretches of play were they tilted the ice and they shoot a lot from all over the place. TO seems to get stretches of possession but don't shoot as much hoping to get to the dangerous areas more. Could skew the numbers as well.

Numbers are actually pretty good for the Leafs right now. Tit-for tat outside of a slow start.

The good news is PP's are even now and I doubt we see another in the third. Just need to score 1 more goal, continue the strong defense, and win more faceoffs

I do agree, but I also really believe that Tampa is also a very good team. We aren't going to be the better team every night, only good teams make the playoffs. They have star players as well. And they get to play too. Bourne wrote about this the other day. Just do what you have to do to win. And they are up 3-2, let's go.

I almost am happy they are so bad at faceoffs. We know our centres are good, so it's going to flip.

Hope so those Dzone faceoffs have been concerning as those chances Tampa got were nerve racking
