Panthers shouldn’t do it. Lundell very much will turn into lindholm at a much cheaper rate. Plus there’s no way we can resign anyone the following season.

Lundell certainly has promise but this is not at all factual like you make it out to be

Lundell still has quite a bit to prove before he can be projected to be Lindholm's caliber

Yeah but they have similar first two years. Lundell looks much better all around this year just didn’t put the points up like last year. But he’ll continue to grow. Two very different coaches as well.

Sure but Lindholm exploded as a player after his trade. It was night and day difference.

Yeah but that was year 5. So lundell has plenty of time. Which time will tell. But could happen with all the talent around him just needs a better defense and growth.

Im not saying he doesn't have the potential to be Lindholm caliber, im saying he comparing their early years doesn't really mean anything as Lindholm became a completely different caliber of player after that trade

Those UFA signings aren't happening. The Florida trade....if Panthers are in a "buy mode" they might do the deal, as I believe the Flames will be in a "sell mode" wth their UFAs this season.
