Carolina is just gonna go magically rob the Federal Reserve for $5m in cap space AND pay a third and fifth rounder? Yea you can count on that one

You’re not going to get that kind of return for Granny. He’s tradeable, but you’lll have to take money back, likely in the form of another unappetizing contract.

And I’d rather have POJ than Grzelyck, just no interest there.

Boston wont be able to retain on Gryz if they trade him. I think thats a pretty damn good offer without the retention

I'm just wondering if this is enough of an upgrade over this past season. It's definitely not worse, I'm just not sure it's any better. You have a lot of cap space left - I would try to bring on another forward

Gryz is certainly an upgrade over Dumo. So is Wood over Heinen. To me, Joseph is the odd man out here. Ty Smith has more upside, IMO.

Well I wouldn't really consider Wood a Heinen replacement - nor is he really a noticeable upgrade over him. POJ had a fantastic season and solidified himself as a 2nd pair dman. And he's dirt cheap. But that was the other guy who brought up POJ, not me.

But even if you think those guys are better, that still brings us back to my original comment. The team overall isn't really any better - maybe very marginally but not enough to make them any more competitive. And with 4.5mil in cap space you could add another forward that you desperately need.
