rangers realistic next szn

Description
Miller was a liability and hasn’t progressed since his rookie season. Schneider has outplayed him and has a higher ceiling as a defensive defenseman. Miller is also going to cost a lot of money, and if you can add another first might as well. Romanav got a first so miller can also. Laf only bring back on a bridge deal if he wants anything else explore trade. And finally give the kids consistent top 6 minutes, and bring in actual 2 way forwards to complement the bottom 6. We have enough skill on this team, need more will. And give othmann and Robertson a shot. Orlov is not a must just an option who is good offensively and defensively and good in the playoffs.

Miller had 43 points wouldn't call that a liability just more of an offensive dman. Maybe rangers should try miller Schneider pair or move miller to a forward which is what he played before college.

I can't see SJ doing that. Miller is a good young D, but It's a rebuild, this is a high quality draft & they want their picks.

Your assessment of Miller is absurd and any thought Drury trades him is about as unrealistic as it gets.

I don't even think Goodrow ends up being a C. Probably a winger. He can also slot in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th line depending on the night on the wing too.

However, this deal never gets done.

San Jose could simply offer sheet Miller and not take on that Goodrow contract for cheaper
