That would be an interesting trade. I think Boston would probabky accept.

I think Boston wants a low 1st.
A mid to low 2nd + a 4th (in two years) and a solid and cheap backup...

I wouldn't say "very bad" they're in absolute cap struggle for next season. They would obviously rather keep Swayman and sign to a new contract given his age vs. Ullmarks.

DeSmith is a very serviceable back up and usually injury free, while also locked in at a low cap hit. Could mix around the picks, but wouldn't say this is "very bad". Most of the back up candidates on the market are going to want well over $2m and the B's don't have cap lol

I actually like this. Desmith plus picks could work for Boston and Pit. Only caveat is I don’t love the defense. I’m not sold on Gustafsson, and I think you’re underpaying Barbashev and Zucker. I think more likely we don’t keep Zucker and promote nylander to that role. Would prefer mikkola. And get Ty smith in there as well

Desmith is very average.

I cant believe how quickly people are forgetting about Ullmark's success this season because he had a couple mediocre playoff games while he was hurt. If the Bruins trade him (I dont think they will) it will be for a 1st+++

Career .914% and 2.73 GAA, would consider that a good reliable backup... league is become more and more goal scoring heavy each season.

Like I said, you'd need to mix the picks up for like a 1st and 3rd maybe, which from Bruin's fans ive typically seen a 1st and 3rd or a 2nd and a top prospect.

I don't know what you mean by 1st+++ but if you think he returns multiple 1st's he wont lol.

No one thinks he fell off either.
