Wings Playoff Push

Description
Make the big splash for Connor to play with Larkin/Raymond.

Bring in Wilson to add some physical presence, only on a 1 year deal, so its a low risk move if it doesn't work out or his injuries catch up with him.

Bring in Martinez and Carrick as Edvinsson insurance if he isn't ready by the start of the regular season/needs time to get going.

Raanta is a solid 1B who is a major upgrade to Ned/Hellberg.

Not sure my trade value is accurate, but they'd still have about $4 million in space if you need to add at the deadline to push for the playoffs.

Still not sure this team makes the playoffs because of how strong the Atlantic is.

Too much? I am terrible with actual value. I had a feeling that might be a rough one. I am a Zadina apologist, but I think it might be time to give him a change of scenery, while adding something the Wings badly need.

Thats one of the more laughable Wilson trades on the website. I'm sure MacLellan would be bounding to Detroit in order to trade a 1st liner who he wants to extend if Yzerman offered him a bust who had 7 points in 30 games and a 3rd round pick. Any trade the Caps would consider would have to start with 9oa i'd imagine.

Welp... I fully thought the Caps were gonna go into a rebuild. He has been hurt a lot, so wasn't sure what his actual value would be, especially playing with Ovi inflated his numbers. I more think he would be someone I'd like the Wings to get, but I was clear saying my valuation could be off.

Understandable to expect a rebuild with their moves at the deadline but Wilson's been a huge contributor over the last 5 years and has been relatively healthy outside of his leg blowing up against Florida last year, but he's valued incredibly highly by management due to his play style and they expect to re-sign him and make him the captain once Ovi leaves.

The caps can get a truckload for Wilson, Conner I think is the one guy Winnipeg doesn't trade and I don't have a issue with Martinez but it seems a year late. I'm not a Mayfield guy.

Because he leads the league in suspensions? No thank you honestly it would be better to bring Bertuzzi back.
