If William Nylander was willing to sign for 6 x $8,000,000 he'd be staying with Toronto, Doubtful you'd get him any cheaper than $9,000,000 to $9,500,000 per long term.

Very doubtful that Buffalo gives up the 13th overall pick for that package, And good luck of Perreault being on the board at 13th, If both Moore and Reinbacher are off the board when Detroit picks at 9 they'll easily take Perreault at 9th overall.

Man, I don't know which NY fan base is going to tear into you first, but neither of them are going to like these deals.

Trading Gibson and getting a 2023 pick means you assume Dostal is ready to be the starter in the 23/24 season, he's not, and Clang is multiple years off if he makes it at this point.

4.5/6 defensemen are rookies, that never goes well to begin with, and assumes all the guys going into the AHL are ready in one years time, it's not going to work out like that.

If Laf is good enough to play the top line, NYR is going to demand more, and Laf is going to demand more salary. Other salaries are light too.

Carolina is also unlikely to do that deal.

I get what you were going for, the future is bright for this team, but the moves you make are not realistic.

It most definitely won’t be happening at the 2023 nhl draft.
