Welcome to CapFriendly in general and to the enthusiastic cadre of Kings supporters in particular!

Unfortunately, I don't think that we'll get Joonas back that cheaply. I'd be willing to be he doesn't go for less than $3,25 million. I think that a better plan is to bridge Gabe Vilardi for two seasons and THEN sign him for 6.

Ian Cole to replace Alex Edler is a nice idea.

    Welcome.
You might get that return for Arvidsson but not from Detroit. He doesn't fit our timeline.

Welcome to the gong show. Detroit declines, but may have an interest in one of your many RHD if you felt so inclined.

I'm convinced that there will be at least one Kings RhD trade to Detroit, Buffalo or Montreal this off-season, and maybe a second to another team.

It just seems to make sense. LA flush with RHD, DET with LHD. Yes I agree though that Buffalo and the Habs also make a lot of sense as a compatible trading partner. I just choose to not believe it as reality as that would hurt the Wings lol

Depends on which Joonas you're getting. Games 1-3 Korpi will get $3.25 easily, Games 4-6 Korpi is lucky to get $2.0. I'm fine with letting him walk and signing some generic vet tendy if he wants too much.

I think Gabe will be pricier than $6.0 in 2 years with the cap going up. Seeing how he's the ONLY one of our kids so far that has shown star potential we should snap him up long term a la the Thompson/Robertson deals and get that surplus value. Kings desperately need players that actually outperform their cap hits going forward.

I'll pay whatever they want that's reasonable for Roy, resign him right away he's a perfect 2nd pair guy and partner for Edvinsson
