You guys signed Tanev to replace Brodie, and he played one season with Giordano. in any case, I wouldn't really want to give up Liljegren for an expiring 2nd-pairing Dman when he could turn out to be the same thing for several years.

Tanev had worse offensive stats, worst plus minus than that Tanev. Expiring contract Tanev 4.5m, Lilfegren 1.4 with three years of control.

I wouldn’t do it if I were TOR either, but I bet TOR wished they had a Healthy Tanev instead of Liljegren for the Playoffs right now
