Adams can trade two 2nd to get 1st and pick player he likes.

I understand that the team will now look even younger, but they have already said that they expect this, and Granato works great with young players. Kulich had a good season and is now great in the playoffs. Savoie started cold, probably due to the effects of injury, but was very good in the middle and end of the season. Great in the playoffs. He can be a good center or play on the wing. Instead of Peterka, we can try any player on this line (Mitts, Greenway, JAD and so on).

It's hard to find a better player than Matt Roy for Buffalo for the top 4 RD. Maybe Adams doesn't want to overpay the UFA and there aren't many good options out there to choose from from a lot of teams.

JAD is pretty good at FO if need be and will add energy and physical presence to the team. But this does not mean that Jost and Rousek will initially be in the press box, whoever looks better will play, it's simple.

I think Buffalo would still need a more proven goalie in tandem with Levi, but I think Adams will give another chance for UPL, especially with improved defense.
