I feel like Chicago would be getting too good a deal here, am I missing Vancouver being in a tough cap crunch?

They aren't gonna agree to a sh*tty deal just to get cap space. Worse comes to worst they just buyout OEL for 7mil of cap space. They should also be compliant regardless with Pearson and Poolman on LTIR, they just won't be able to do much via trades or FA.

VAN probably has the worst cap position in the league, because of how many mediocre/declining players they have making $5M+.

I think they do that trade in a heartbeat with Myers, consider it with Garland, and probably don't do it with Boeser.
