Probably too many free agents. Why is Hellberg getting 2M?

Mayfield or dumba Barbashev or killorn you can't get all of them plus why pay Barbashev 4 million and make him a 4th liner

Ok, give Hellberg a little less. As far as enough next year. Perrone, Verrana, and Hellberg are off the books. Kasper and Cossa are less than a million each. They have rfa's Rasmussen, Seider, Raymond and Berggren to sign but this scenario leaves them almost 24 mil to do so. I think that's possible. That's without the CAP.going up. I think we need a little.Nasty on the Blue line. Ottawa and Buff can't be allowed to push us around.

He just defaulted there. I think he will get that on the open market. I didn't like any of the older centers in FA. I do think it's possible to do this in FA. Too many FAs and not enough teams with CAP space. I'm more concerned if that's going to be enough for Mayfield. He would still be 3 Rd line but we need size back there. Now, shift the lines as you like.

We really only need one Right D spot filled. As much as I loathe Chiarot he can play the right side somewhat effectively and Yzerman will want a veteran to play with Edvinsson. Also why no Fabri?

Hard pass on Dumba especially at that number/term. They aren't scratching Maatta, he's the most steady DFD they have. I like Barbashev, but you don't pay a 4th liner that money. Killorn probably gonna get more than 2 years on the open market I'd think. They need to improve on backup goalie, so I'm out on Ned and Hellberg.

They need money to sign Mo and Raymond to extensions, and they aren't left with that here.
