Detroit says no on Toronto trade

Jets probably want 1 more piece, but it's closer then most

Every single signing is a pass and will hurt the team instead of help

That’s actually a super easy no for me.

1) 9th overall must be included in a kfc trade or else we just keep him.
2) lhd is our deepest position prospect wise
3) wing is our second deepest spot prospect wise
4) Bauer is in pen as our 3RHD of the future for me to handle the fisticuffs… we have nobody else that has that in their game so I wouldn’t be willing to part with him.

Reality is we probably need both 1sts this year to make a deal… up to you guys if you want him or not.

I would give you both 9 + 17 for him

I was back and forth on the pick in the Toronto trade. Really curious to see where people value Fabbri, I feel like he will lose a middle 6 spot in Detroit.

On the jets trade, I have reservations that they value Berggren or Johanson enough.

On the signings, the intent was to bring in something that is replaceable without term, so Soderblom or Mazur can take the spot once they are ready.

It's hard to give up 9OA but, if the market is there on Connor, it will definitely be required.

That's a big overpayment for Liljegren imo. You value him that much?

I would do it without hesitation, red wings biggest need is a top 3 forward who can score. Connor only time under 30 was COVID shortened year, he's a stud and 9 or 17 won't be better then him

Too much for Suter.
No to Erne, he's no good.
Ned probably doesn't resign here.
Chiasson sure but could probably get him for league minimum.
I don't mind the ZAR, Kuhlmann or Stetcher signings.
I don't mind targeting Liljegren. Would rather not pay that much.
I wouldn't do the Connor trade but for value wise it's not bad. They would probably be looking for different prospects though.

There's nothing interesting enough there to consider moving Connor for. Start with Detroit's 1st in 23 and add from there.

Yes, thank youuu! Is it just me that values Berggren really highly or can you agree? Seems that everyone likes to just pitch him in as a decent prospect when in reality he just had a massive rookie season. I think those that didn’t see that just don’t actually follow and closely watch the games

Bergy is still improving. He's going to take another step next season with more ice time.
