If the other teams would do this, then this is a good mix of staying competitive and getting younger.
The trades are not bad for the other teams in my opinion.

That Lindholm return is abysmal. You also made this team a likely lottery team while also giving away an unprotected 1st in the offersheet for Byram

Trades seem fair IMO, but, I think if you combined the Byram offer sheet into the Lindholm trade and kept the Flames' '24 1st and 2nd, this team would be better off.

I doubt the Sabers are going to trade for one year of a Dman with a NMC there would have to be a extention involved.

I would say it's unlikely Byram signs that offer sheet. Make it 6-7 years and he might do it but he isn't going to jump off the Avs to go to Calgary for a one year deal, even one that pays that much.
