2C is almost certainly going to have to be acquired by trade or else they try to add a very solid wing and go with the plan from last year just without Landy.

I think value is close, but I think that the Canucks say no due to A) how marketable Kuzy is and B) we dont need LD and undersized D. I know that the landscape is changing on small D but the canucks have Hughes, bear and rathbone, Hronek isnt huge. I like the player but he doesnt fit the canucks and their future

Just based on supply and demand, they might be better off selling Toews or Byram for a 2C…then signing a dman.

TBH, I wasn't sure how the Canucks felt about their d-men. I've seen mixed reports on what they need and who they're willing to part with.

Genuinely, curious...what does get Vancouver considering trading Kuzmenko?

Pretty awful for the Canucks, Girard has value although not as much as Avs fans appear to think. Meyers has less than negative value.

High picks, good prospects. 39 goal scorer for 5.5M on 2 years remaining is a very valuable player, his shooting percentage will drop but he might shoot more and keep his overall goals

Not sure they'd do it even for Byrum. Unless the Avs want to deal a player from their core like Toews likely the Avs don't have the assets to get him.
