Montreal and LAK have to do this.

I think New York is losing both of those trades. I mean that with zero disrespect to Xhekaj and Vilardi.

What do you think gets added to each one?

It's a difficult question to answer because habs shouldn't and wouldn't pay full value price for laf...

That's kinda what I was thinking. It's a weird situation because I would like to trade Laf for a comparable RW, which is what NYR need.

New Yorks LD was their weak point this year in my mind and not because of Miller. And it was still better than most teams. Rangers had a fantastic team. So I wouldn't trade Miller at all.

So scrap that LA trade entirely.

If you are set on trading Laf, I would ask for Xhekaj and 2023 Florida 1st at minimum. He is a 1st overall pick from a few years ago and is still only 21.

Miller + Lindgren + Xhekaj on the left - Fox, Trouba, Schneider on the right. With guys like Jones as depth. That D Corp looks very nice.

As a Leaf fan I would offer 28th overall in this draft + One of our top prospect (such as Niemela) for Laf.

MTL wants Laf its going to be 2023 first + . He's still a former first overall, and he's flashed enough and clearly just been buried.

Considering he's actually an NHL player. He might not be lighting the world on fire, but he's definitely not a guy who can't play in the NHL.
