He isn’t available and even if he was the cost would be significantly higher than this. He’s produced like a top line center for two straight seasons and he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. I guess guys who are 6-4 and can skate have the ability to age gracefully lol.

No you would probably have to be sending Sillinger + the LAK first in the deal if Nelson was made available. That being said while I think the isles need to make significant changes they probably won’t until they see a healthy Barzal back with Horvat next year.

I would guess the asking price is through the roof. Something like the Kings first and Sillinger to start. Top it off with a 3rd rounder or Roslovic and that probably gets you into the bidding war. The guy is 6'4" and producing at a first line center level at 31 years old.
