I'd prefer Kempe to Marner, especially considering the price tag.

We need four years of Danault and three years of Kempe a LOT more than we need two seasons of Marner.

Maple Leaf fans seem to overlook the fact that the two teams were statistically tied in goals scored this season (280/279), a tier above Stanley Cup semifinalists Carolina and Las Vegas. We don't need additional offensive firepower.

Maybe, although he is free agent, and if we keep with this roster. Leafs still have 8 mil left of cap space.
