if the cost is cut a decent amount the canes would take him on at full cap hit. We have 26 million of cap space.

It's at least much more realistic than other projections I've seen. I'd keep Martinez rather than trading him, especially since the Canes can probably just keep Gostisbehere around instead of giving a 2nd, as Canes fans pointed out, although I'd think a 2nd is a good deal.

Reilly Smith is also on the wrong line, he plays on the 2nd with Karlsson and I'm positive it stays that way. Either bump Smith up a line or bump down Karlsson as a 3C. Nic Roy most likely stays the 4C, but he can be switched around with Amadio, who's been mostly a winger so far.

I'd also think that the Knights simply re-sign Brett Howden as a RFA rather than going after Brendan Lemieux, but the latter is not a bad signing.
