Unless there is a demanded trade from Keller or Hayton both would need to be a massive overpay as they are not on the trade block.
My guess on massive overpays that the Coyotes have to consider for a trade:
Keller = 4 A-grade assets,
Hayton = 2 A-grade assets and a B-grade asset,

A-grade assets- 1st round picks, A rated prospects, top 6 forwards, top pair defenseman
B-grade assets- 2nd round picks, A- or B rated prospects, middle six forwards, bottom 4 defenseman

Schmaltz in an interesting trade option. He is prime career with a team friendly contract with term, and he is a top six forward on most teams. Can play C but better on the wing.
Maybe 2023 1st (BOS) or 2024 1st (TOR) and a couple of A-/B prospects or a prospect and a decent roster player (Kampf or Liljegeren type)

Hockey trades days are coming fast, have an abundance of picks and prospects, time for some upgrades on the blueline, maybe something shiny upfront, not really looking to move any of them at the moment, but somewhat distracted with a future barn gameplan.

If Washington comes with 8th oa or somebody out of the top 12 this year, plus plus plus, definitely would be intrigued having 3 picks on top 12 this year to go with picks last year. Too bad that arena deal fell through, always better with a potential home on the horizon over uncertainty. Possibly open up the wallet also if the end goal was closer. Any of those three go, I would want at least one top notch asset back. Quality over quantity, all ready have an abundance of picks and prospects.

Is the Schmaltz contract really team friendly? The cap hit isn't awful, but the contract is backloaded so in actual money he's being paid $8 million on average each of the last three years. That can't help his value. Another issue other clubs probably will have is with his durability. The ask you threw out there seems a little high.
