Where do you see Dubois? Also Mtl won’t trade for less than that. A lot of Jets fans wants Perfetti gone

Depends on who is available at #5. Like If all of Bedard, Fantili, Carlsson, are gone than that's a no for the blues

Montreal doesn’t want to trade 5 overall so they won’t accept a trade with less than Perfetti, a first and maybe a second and a third instead of Lucius

Just tell me if you were the other side are you trade pick 18 (2023) pick 18 (2021) and pick 10 (2020) for pick 5? Like I get mtl may not want to trade the pick but looking at getting 3 top 18 overall picks is absurd. I think this is the first post in awhile where every team declines instantly without a second thought.

        It's more likely 5 + mon 2nd for 9 + 17 for wings trade

Dach, Florida pick when it was 17th and guhle? Still think you'd trade those 3 assets to get pick 5?

Yeah… I don’t see Capitals wasting a 1st to move up 3 spots. Fantilli Bedard Carlsson and Smith are the safe easy picks. There is a chance Michkov falls to Washington bc folks are afraid to draft him.

DET is a pretty fair value but I’d personally only want to see that if it was top 4 pick. Personally think reinbacher at 9 is a realistic pickup that would make a big diff in the rebuild.

I'd probably pass. Michkov I think will slip. I'd move up for the big 3 but not other players or take the risk of Michkov. If Michkov is there at 10 great, but if he isn't it's ok

either carlsson or smith is available at 5 and MTL aren't trading down no matter what, or Michkov is left and it would take a lot less to get up to 5 than these

Yeah I mean, this makes no sense the value is the top 3. No one is giving up anywhere close to what you’re asking unless it’s Bedard, Fantilli, or Carlsson. Smith probably goes 4 and Michkov is a mystery. 5-8 is probably the sweet spot for someone to try and jump up to grab the first Dman but not at anywhere near what you want

        Dach > Perfetti
        Guhle > Lucius
Perfetti is the same age as Dach when he was traded. Dach got 13+. Dach was third overall and is bigger than Perfetti. Both had serious injuries in the past. So Perfetti’s value is probably around 15 overall. Lucius hasn’t done enough to gain that much value. He is probably worth 17. Guhle has proven himself as a responsible top 4 dman, worth way more than Perfetti and Lucius. So pick 5 for 15 + 17 + 18. There is much better offer. I don’t know if Detroit would trade 9 overall for 15 and 18 so Mtl probably takes Detroit’s offer instead. You tend to overvalue your player too much.

What was dach's career high point total before the trade? Also all of the players are injured so the injury thing doesn't take away value from some and not others, heck it should take away from dach with 3 major injuries since drafted. Perfetti's value has not dropped since his draft before he was injured he was in the tops of the calder conversation and was the best player on the scheifele wheeler him line when that's what the line up was. Ngl I wouldn't trade perfetti for dach as mote team control and I certainly wouldn't do perfetti for slaf. You seem to be overvalued your own guys too lol it's common

What was dach's career high point total before the trade? Also all of the players are injured so the injury thing doesn't take away value from some and not others, heck it should take away from dach with 3 major injuries since drafted. Injuries are important if the player is small. Not a single team will give a top 14 pick for him. Wouldn’t trade Dach for Perfetti either from Montreal side even if pick 18 is included

No one is giving up a top 14 pick for dach with the injury history he has. Likely ain't getting what you paid for him lol. When was his last healthy season if he's had one.

Max 70 games lol he can't stay healthy

You just destroyed your own point. Perfetti has also a big injuries history. Dach has a better production in a worst team. No way someone will give a top 14 pick for Perfetti if Dach can’t get one.

Perfetti has a less injury history don't think you can ignore that 18 game season from dach. Who has the worse injury history between dach and Perfetti?

Crosby had a 22 game season and is still one of the best of all time. Lindholm has a big injury history but is still very valuable. Mark Stone had an 18 game season. Dach is definitly able of learning to protect himself better
