There's nothing in it for Winnipeg. They might as well just keep DeMelo

Nothing about that package is appealing to the Leafs

While there’s a lot that can be addressed here, I can’t warp my head around paying 7.5+ million for two back up goalies.

Lol, a low end backup, depth d-man, and a late 2nd and 3rd a year from now won’t solve “mediocrity”. There’s probably a better bid around the tdl, so if we’re rebuilding, that’s the time to move him.

How does trading a good player for garbage help? Turn the jets into a team that can't even make the playoffs with Crosby and Malkin in an easy division? Now Pittsburgh's a team that has been in perpetual mediocrity for quite a while now.

laugh Looks who's talking, Who's heading for perpetual mediocrity. Couldn't even beat the hapless Black Hawks. Pittsburgh will be in complete mediocrity within 2-3 years once Crosby and Malkin retire and you have 0 replacements for them.

LOL same time frame Detroit won 4 cups. And the league gave you the cup on the back to back with Detroit that whole series was a joke. Detroit was the far superior team Bettman just gave you the 2nd one feeling sorry for you..

Wahhhh bettman rigged a cup from a decade and a half ago wahhhh wahhhh. Detroit cups were before the salary cap. Try and wrap your brain around that one, or is it too small to comprehend the difference? Wahhhh Crosby and Malkin owned the league for 15+ years boo hoo now i cry on capfriendly about an 09 cup. Wahhh

You're spending way too much money on poopy goaltending.

I'd actually prefer Marner to be honest. Pens don't need another superstar center. It's definitely possible to build a team a Marner/Matthews acquisition. But yeah Carter probably denies.
