I def agree with the need for overreaction. Personally, I'd prefer to swing a deal for Keller over Schmaltz and keep Pesce and Necas over Debrincat but I'm a fan of the team going out and getting something. Bertuzzi may be a bit of an overpay at 6.25 x 5 but I what do I know lol

pass on debrincat. if he isnt as strong in Ottawa's system, he will strong in this system.

pass on overpaying Bertuzzi who will be out more than Turbo has over the life of his contract. Barbashev would be alright though.

schmaltz isnt a center. he has about as much of a shot to play center as necas does. which isnt very high.

I think it's an overpay to Ottawa but I would add a bit to the Cat to get those two.

Totally unbiased take from an Avs fan, but there's no need to overreact on the Canes. I'm seeing FLA outmuscle and outhustle them, and the games are still close. Canes need a couple of pests and bruiser types, but they can find those guys without giving up so much. Get that and the cup is within reach.
