Walsh has played 1 NHL game but he is ready to slot into the 2nd pair? Boqvist is 24 and has barely hit 20 points a year in his career how is he a middle 6 guy with high upside? How is Saros worth only that package and same for ADB?

Honestly, he has been a solid player and the advanced stats crowd LOVE him. With Dougie, Severson, Subban, Marino and eventually Nemec…he just hasn’t gotten the chance in NHL lineup.

He would start year on 3rd pair on many teams. Could play some PK and maybe work 2nd power play at times. If he turned into 2nd pair guy, it wouldn’t shock me.
