-would be willing to overpay for all ufas, just best case scenario and going off what seravalli said.

-bouchard bridge at around a high 3 million/low 4 million range is most likely, report said he's not gonna get a longterm deal which sucks.

-id be willing to add on savoie/petrov/desharnais to make the demelo deal work, idk if that trade as is would be enough value for demelo so lmk.

-id sign mayfield by 2x3.75m if we cant acquire demelo, or getting gudas at 3x3.6m

Jets decline. They want neither of Yamo, foegele, or ceci. Or the other pieces. They’d much rather have demelo. Now, if come tdl demelo isn’t willing to stick around and the jets are missing the playoffs, we can have this discussion. Still would cost more than a bunch of meh and a 2nd though.

Unless you can give something the jets want to win now (can’t think of anything the oilers have that the jets would want), I doubt it happens any time soon. Now at the tdl, if demelo doesn’t want to stay and WPG is out of a playoff spot, I’d do a deal similar to the Copp trade (which I think is fair value for demelo). 2 2nds (one with conditions to become a 1st), prospect.

You might think that’s too much, and you may be right, but defensively sound top 4 rd are a commodity around the tdl.
