I dont see Debrincat as enough of an upgrade over Debrusk to make this worth it for the bruins.

Everyone on the recency bias train lol. Ppl don’t realize he didn’t have a top 6 centre to play with

Definitely an interesting trade but I dont see the Bruins doing this because Debricant probably wants 8M a year or something crazy

You guys are probably better off giving him a 1 year deal and hope his value increases. He's been up and down his whole career. I don't think the sens have the lineup next year even with upgrades to go far in the playoffs

I agree with this to a degree, IF, Debrusk keeps up his production he is a 30-35 goal scorer who has improved his 2-way game immensely for $4m for another year and probably $6-$7m after that. But he could fall off again and will no doubt be looking for his 8 years which could be risky.

But all that being said, If I'm Don Sweeney I'm probably not doing this because The Cat is getting $8mand we already have a goal scoring winger. If I'm spending $8m, it's for PLD or E. Lindholm.

disagree. Best idea is to move him in a sign and trade like Matthew Tkachuk.

I mean I like Debrincat, I think he's better then Debrusk. It's just that Debrincat is gonna end up making like 2x as much as Debrusk next season and I don't think he's THAT much better.

Once we get past next season we won't really need to worry about the cap too much. Our core, big money pieces are all locked up, the cap will start going up again, and the overages will come off the books. I'll gladly give Debrusk a 6x6mil if it means we get to get legit top line wing value out of him for 4 mil for another season.

Creative trade with cap issues for the B´s, but can Debrincat play C??? Otherwise it´s a NO from the Bruins!

I don't think you'll get much, but maybe I'm wrong.

He has 373pts in 450 career games and he’s only 25. Try again
