    Canes laugh hard. Necas is a non starter in a Marner deal. Teuvo can be talked about, but the difference between them was 30 points and you want 2 1sts and the guy 2 years younger at a quarter of the price who is an RFA on expiry, for a guy Carolina know they cannot afford... easy decline here. Necas isn't on the table for Marner. Matthews? Different conversation entirely. Tends to be the case with 60 goal scorers

    Well you shouldn't repeat trades that are nonsensical. Canes say no EASILY. Leafs say no to Goodrow and EK.

    SJ isn't going to get as much as they would have got dealing EK at the deadline but there's not much in this offer, especially at that retention. Hope Grier doesn't make a trade as bad as this
