Byfield for sure isn't going anywhere. Maybe put Lizotte or Turcotte in there from a Kings perspective

I think if it's Turcotte or Lizotte the Canucks need another major piece

Why would Boston trade their vezina candidate goalie and a core defensemen for a ****ty contract especially when they’re already cap strapped

I just don't know much value Ullmark would really have. A lot of teams will assume in his time in Buffalo and his time in Boston he's probably somewhere in the middle of those averages. Goalies don't typically get traded for a lot. It would be an interesting move though

To win in the next 2-3 years. They have a really good goalie still in Swayman, and still have lots of good D men, but they have no options at C when Bergeron hangs up his skates.

Bruins say no, Carlo is a core piece that isn't getting moved barring an overpay. Miller isn't an overpay.

Is Carlo really valued that highly? Isn't he only the Bruins third best D and still injury prone? (I may be wrong)

Sweeney specifically said that Carlo, McAvoy, and Lindholm are the core of our defense. He's not a guy we'll be looking to move.

I guess swap him out with Hall and then add a pick or something?

Lol. No

1) Carlo is not being moved

2) don’t want that contract

Fair enough to 1

On 2, it's not bad for 3-4 years. It's gonna just be the last few that hurt so I feel like a win now team could take a risk on it but also not entirely sure

Yup if it was 3-4 years there would be interest.

But it’s a 3-4 year problem.
