You signed too many free agents, get the goon Gudas off the team, wee would have to just play Chiarot there even though I don't like him either. Severson I don't know if he would take that term but I wouldn't go longer, not worth it for us. I like Barby but play Rasmussen there so you can get Berggren in the line up, he had a really good rookie season and deserves to be in the top 6.

Detroit overpaid for Husso, he was a pending UFA and they traded solely for the right to talk with him before he hit the UFA market. I understand why they did it as filling your goaltending position is very important and the market at the time was quite thin (had they waited though they may have been able to get someone like Vanecek or Samsonov for free). As for Vladar, he is already under contract for the next 2 years at a very cheap cap hit. His trade value is more in line with Georgiev or Vanecek (back to Washington after the expansion).

The offer needs to be at least, The Isles 17th overall pick plus one of St Louis or Vancouvers 42nd or 43rd overall pick and Cross Hanas. That's a solid offer equivalent of a 1st and 2nd and B level prospects.
