Sorry for being misleading, meant to say anywhere in the caption, I agree with you

I've soured on Angello and all his dumb penalties during the Ads playoffs. Ratcliffe on the other hand looks good every time I watch him. He's been the best of all the future considerations pickups IMO.

The Flames currently have:
Hanifin, Andersson, Tanev, Weegar, Zadorov, and Kylington under contract for next season. All of whom I would play before Berrie.

I could see NSH trading him but to a different team.

I agree, I've been watching the Ads too, Ratcliffe has been good all around especially on the forecheck imo, good point to swap him out for Angello.

Yeah I messed up the caption on the trade, I said he could go anywhere just very vaguely.

Have you been watching Milwaukee? How have we looked? Kemell especially

I know you were asking the other guy but Kemell to me looks like he may be ready to make the jump up to the NHL as early as next year, he reminds me of Ovi on the powerplay (with seemingly better puck movement) but even strength as well he doesn't seem to be afraid to battle and give/take contact as well as getting in front of shots to redirect (2 of his goals in the playoffs have been deflections). As for Milwaukee we look good but the refs ****ed us last game.

Mostly watching clips/recaps and listening to the radio broadcast. I don't have AHLTV, and haven't found their playoff games through any other means. I was able to see them play live this year, when they finally returned to Toronto. It was the game where Kemell got his first NA goal, and Marlies captain Shaw had a hissy fit over his collision with Askarov in the shootout. Fun game.

It's crazy because I'm from Toronto and I really wanted to see that exact game, but was unable to go.

I've been meaning to watch the games because of how insanely stacked the Ads are. A lot of young, raw talent.

If you haven't been to a Marlies game, it's a nice, little arena. Good sight lines no matter where you sit, and aside from the first two rows, you can move wherever you want to. Get a $15 ticket, and save your money for beer (which they charge major league prices for). There was a good smattering of friendly Preds fans at the one I went to (and a group of Navrin Mutter fanboys, all in different game worn jerseys of his).

Dumping $6m in cap doesn’t move you up in the draft

Trade gives the Yotes a veteran center who could help with the younger guys there, while also helping them hover around the cap floor, plus they get a 3rd rounder
