Why? Cheap, strong 2-way forward, natural goal scorer, seems like a great fit on any team pushing for a win

Canes don’t believe in adding big rentals. Not a lot of value return on the assets traded away. Unfortunately it doesn’t guarantee a series win in the playoffs. so why spend a ton?

That depends entirely on if they think re-signing him makes sense. I think he would fit like a glove there

Toffoli would finally be up for his big payday. That also isn’t a Hurricanes thing. Paying guys top dollar in ages 33-37 during their decline..

No he won't, he'll be 32, you are pretty much looking at an identical situation to David Perron. Guy paced 33 goals and 70 points last year. Then went and got a slight raise to finish out his career
