Description
All the players brought in only have 1 year left on their deals. There are a few deals that I’ve seen on here as well as deals that their team moving on from them they create cap space for other needs. If any of the players being brought in turn their play around they could also be shipped out at the deadline.

Umm, Reilly buyout cap hit is 333k and Forbort can be traded for a late pick, why would B’s use one of their best prospects to move them?

Easy decline.

Honestly dude I don’t know what these comments will look like cause you really thought outside the box in these trades. Most of the prospects you linked haven’t come up much on any other Flyers threads so cool for bringing up new ideas. Personally I like all of these trades I do think the AZ one is a little too much to give up just to dump Ellis’ contract but I appreciate the new ideas being brought in here lol hopefully others agree

Question cause idk what is buyout looks like but it would obviously be worse after year 1 if you buyout so wouldn’t that basically say the Bruins window only has 1 year left then?

Cap hit year 2 is just over 1m. Cap will increase again next year, and Bettman’s bosses are pressuring him to increase it more this year. The 1m in year 2 will likely be less detrimental than this years 333k is when they are tight.

I know everyone is in a rush to shut the window on their fingers but they are not going anywhere anytime soon. They will remain competitive for quite awhile, especially when you have an owner that is against a rebuild.

Bruins should only trade Lysell (in a package) for a top line C!

Los Angeles is under cap pressure, so the Kings can't afford to add $2 million in cap when they have only $7.5 million in space right now and RFAs Gabe Vilardi, Rasmus Kupari and Tobias Bjornfot to sign, plus other roster slots to fill.

Corson Ceulemans isn't getting moved for Kevin Hayes. The rumored deal with Fletcher was "nothing significant" an Ceulemans is one of the few right D prospects in the pool that make sense.

If Kevin Hayes gets expensive I don't see CBJ continuing to be in on him.
