Description

This is a conservative cap estimate based on a $1M increase this off-season and a $4M increase the following off-season.

Really just to illustrate the flexibility moving forward, almost $12M in cap space remaining. Can always throw an extra $1M each at dahlin and power if needed. Still space to sign another pricey goalie to share the net with Levi for a year.

Maybe not - but Calgary has a new GM who wants more youth and skill upfront. Calgary has strength on D right it can trade from. In any case - just illustrating that I think Buffalo should be aggressive in pursuing a versatile top 4 D this summer

Conroy was more suggesting we aren't going to be bringing back Lucic, Lewis, and Ritchie and instead guys like Pelletier, Ruzicka, and Duehr will make the team instead. As well as one of Coronato or Zary.

I could see Calgary maybe making Tanev available for the right price though
