Nylander seems like the better fit for the canes than Marner. More of a goalscorer, cheaper this year and probably a cheaper extention. And what's the deal with Brodie? Some leafs acgm's i've seen him in the top 4, and on some he's been traded for next to nothing. What's his value, and can he play the left side? He could be a good stop gap for that bottom pair.

Swap of players in their contract year in Teravainen and Nylander. Teravainen is coming off of a down year, but playing in the right position, he could bounce back big time. He's a fantastic playmaker. And would be a way cheaper extention than Nylander. Willing to tweak the rest of the return, but it would probably be mostly prospects/picks outside of Teravainen.

Would something like this work if they were to prioritize bringing back Killorn?
