I would be surprised if Girls and Jost are back. I think they will make room for Kulich and Rosen next year.

Revisionist history won't happen - even if Murray has a change of heart and decided he'd waive to go to Buffalo now after he vetoed the prospect last summer, there's no way that Kevyn Adams would want someone who already expressed previously a desire not to join the Sabres - no matter what the sweetener Toronto throws in is.

On top of that, his injury history - which the Leafs were banking on being a thing of the past when they acquired Murray last summer - continued this past season and caused a lot of instability for the Leafs. If Buffalo adds a goalie this summer, it's because they want to add stability, not create more uncertainty.

He was bought out, not even on the roster

@GetTuched This my friend would be a near perfect off season.
Adding two seconds and moving up to the first round with the Leafs trade.
Murray can be sent to Rochester or bought out as you did and his cap hit will be easily absorbed over the next 2 years.
Signing Soucy (or Mayfield) would be in line with past years UFA additions.
@ 13th OA there is good chance that Reinbacher or SandinPellikka will be available and @ 28th OA Bonk or Dragicevic will still be on the table.
The seconds could be valuable trade chips @ the '24 or '25 TDL or may be used to continue building the prospect pool!
Moving Casey up to the top line would spread the wealth and give the Sabres THREE scoring lines.
This my friend is an IDEAL OF SEASON!
