Substitute Johansson or McIsaac or Viro for Mastrosimone and Los Angeles might do that.

I can understand if you think it’s too much for Bert but he fills multiple needs and knows the team(though i know it’s unlikely he comes back). Hill showed that he’s a solid backup with .915 Save % and 2.5 GAA. Hang and Chiasson(doesn’t have to be them but that type of cheap, 1 year guy) are guys that are healthy scratches and only play in spot starts and can be waived if/when Soderblom, Mazur, Hanas earn full time call ups. I’d rather them play everyday in GR than them being scratches in Detroit.

Keller trade: Arizona(or wherever they end up) is clearly not close to competing and are collecting draft picks. 2 1sts(including an unprotected Detroit pick), 2 2nds, and a 3rd along with a player is nice for a rebuilding team. If you want to tell me that it needs another 2nd or like McIssac/Viro/Lombardi, then sure. But don’t come at me with the “any Keller trade starts with Seider and 9OA” nonsense.

The Bert ship has sailed honestly, he's too old and injury prone and plays a style that his body won't hold up, whoever signs him will hate that contract very fast. I just want to either improve, aka your Keller trade or continue to draft and develop. Can't stand the mediocrity that some people (not saying you) want this team to be

I’ll admit, signing Bert long term does scare me in some ways. But the Wings need scoring and toughness and that’s exactly what Bert brings. It’s just a weak FA class and I doubt we see 2 trades for top 6 guys.

Along with a trade for Keller, DeBrincat, or Konecny, I’d like to see 1-2 year deals for Tarasenko and Killorn but for some reason people on here hate Killorn, even though he puts the puck in the net.

I get it if we’re talking 3-5 years. But what’s the harm in a 1-2 year Killorn deal?

Taking a spot from a kid, he's 34 and going to play with a team that has 3 full lines of scoring to barely 1, he wouldn't even come close to reproducing his stats from Tampa in Detroit. I wouldn't take him for 1 year league minimum.

I like what you did, probably a bit too much for Keller. I keep thinking about the prices people were saying Chychrun would go for, and Ottawa got him for what? 60¢ on the dollar?

Think Keller would end up going for two firsts and a defense prospect.

I like everything else though. Really think the Wings’ll prioritize getting tougher. We all watched Brady Tkachuck bend this team over, we’re all watching his brother dominate the playoffs from our own division. You can’t replicate those guys, but you can sharpen a physical edge. Seider already brings it, let’s add a few more of those to the mix to take pressure off Mo.

Was referring to the Keller trade - it's just not even close to something ARZ would accept.

Tara would be nice for 2 years (although not gonna happen) and I am a big Bert fan - I know you are not haha.

If Mazur/Soderblom/ Hanas earn a spot out of camp and show they’re ready for full time, I’m with you 100%. But if not, I’d rather them play every game in GR and bring in a guy on a 1 year deal who can score 20-25 goals.

But he won't score that on Detroit, he will go from playing with stamkos and kucherov to playing with copp and Rasmussen, it's a big difference. I rather have mazur on the team then killorn

Every rumored trade target is always over valued on here. Keller is great but ARZ is not going to get 3 1sts and a top prospect like people on here think.

Again, if Mazur earns a spot, 100% agree. But who is Detroits 1st line right now? Why not stick Killorn on a line with Larkin and Raymond and let Perron play on the 2nd or 3rd. I’m sure with Larking and Raymond, Killorn could get at least 20

I don't see it happening l, I actually rather have mazur on the top line then killorn. I understand he might not make the team out of camp, I'm just stating what I would prefer, prior to any signings or camp happening

Absolutely. I prefer Mazur and Soderblom in the team and earning top line minutes. But I’d also like a low risk safety net if not.
