I like Iaffallo but not sure he would be a good enough centerpiece to get Matthews. Maybe since Matthews only has one year left.

Clarke would probably be the guy the Leafs are gunning for...

I also don't think LA would give up much more than Clarke... a middle six forward and a first round pick (or former first rd pick player) tops. Matthews has one year before UFA, he doesn't have the value he did last year.
