As a Canucks fan, a OEL for Gallagher trade sounds really interesting but I'm not sure if Montreal has any reason to do it.

    The Avs don’t do that
I doubt either team does the MTL trade
There is no reason Schenn should be playing ahead of Hronek
Hoglander should be in the top 9
Raty should be in the AHL and play more minutes rather than 4C in the NHL

Why would Colorado ever even consider making that trade...

Hronek would play the same number of minutes as Byram, just like to spread the talent around so we don't have a weak pair.

If we have to give up Disney passes for Myers, we should pass since those are so damn expensive

If they trade a dman, it will be for an established 2C. Not some future magic beans, they are in win now mode. Landeskog on LTIR all year frees up a good chunk of space. I mean, Avs could fit this 6.5 m for Byram with Landy's cap gone, and 500k to spare.

Byram has far more value than that and, no, needing cap space (which they actually have a decent amount of this year with the Landeskog LTIR) is not a good reason to trade an established young D with a high-level skillset for someone that won't make an impact with the Avs within the next few years, if ever; that's just terrible asset management. Now, if you want to offer Pettersson...

tears of joy tears of joy tears of joy tears of joy tears of joy (got tired at this point of clicking the emoji). The Avs won't be trading Byram for a guess pick at 11.
